Base Camps always prove to be very popular and well attended. Destinations can range from the likes of Mt Hotham, the Grampians, SA vineyards, Queensland and New Zealand; anywhere really
The camps inevitably incorpoarate a program of walking, cycling, exploring and social activities. Our Base Camps are sources of great merriment and camaraderie - many a reputation has been made on these outings.
This year's Combined Gippsland Bushwalking Clubs’ Weekend is hosted by the Ben Cruachan Walking Club and is based at the Licola Wilderness Village in the Gippsland High Country. Come and experience the quiet beauty of the Alps with fellow Gippsland Bushwalkers

4 or 5 days walking with a DAYPACK. Basecamp in Nelson. Camp, caravan, cabin or motel
Drop off and pickup each day. Each walk will be 17km to 20km.
Overview: The Great South West Walk (GSWW) is located in South West Victoria (Australia) and has been developed as a bushwalking trail suitable for most ages and abilities comprising short 2-hour loop walks, full-day walks, or for the intrepid, the whole 250km loop that begins and ends in Portland, Victoria, Australia.
